The first edition of REACT was shaped by the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the highlights at the meeting was the presentation of the Barcelona Green Deal, the new economic agenda for the city which opts for sustainable, inclusive and equitable growth.

At the second edition of REACT, in post-pandemic 2022 but with a new global scenario caused by the war in Ukraine, the meeting was used to present major projects in the city in a scenario of transition towards the green, digital and sustainable future, consolidating Barcelona as a global hub for the new economy.
