Aurora Catà

Vicepresident, America’s Cup Events Barcelona (ACE Barcelona)

Aurora began her career as Financial Director at Nissan Motor Ibérica (1991-1996). In 1996 she was appointed General Manager of RTVE group and, from1999 to 2002, she was CEO of Planeta 2010, the company that comprises the audiovisual business of Grupo Planeta. She is founder of the startup Content Arena and was a partner at Seeliger y Conde (2008-2020). In 2020 she became President of the Barcelona Global Association until 2022. That year she was appointed Vice President of America's Cup Event Barcelona. Her experience as a director includes Grupo Atresmedia, NissanFinanciación, Abantia, Instituto Catalán de Finanzas, VEO TV and Quiero TV, among others. She is currently an independent director of Repsol, Banco Sabadell and Atrys Health. At Banco Sabadell she is chairwoman of the Remuneration Committee, member of the Appointments and Corporate Governance Committee and member of the Risk Committee. At Repsol she is a member of the Appointments Committee, Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee. She is a member of the Executive Committee of Alumni IESE and a trustee of the Cellnex Foundation. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering (UPC). She also holds an MBA and PADE (IESE).
