Neighbourhood pride
Under the slogan ‘Neighbourhood Pride,’ the city presents an extensive programme of local, intergenerational, transfeminist, and intersectional events and artistic initiatives.
A Pride that reaches into the neighbourhoods and districts in the form of concerts, exhibitions, storytelling sessions, talks, and documentary screenings, among many other offerings, targeted at adult, children, or family audiences.
The programme has been driven by the Barcelona LGBTI Centre, managed by the Platform of LGBTI Entities of Catalonia, as well as by civic centres, libraries, and facilities in the various district neighbourhoods, which work throughout the year to advocate for LGBTI rights and highlight the diversity of realities and perspectives within the LGBTI communities.

Sarai G. Cumplido
Artist and Curator
Artist and Curator. She graduated in Film and Audiovisual Media. She is a cultural researcher and co-founder of DU-DA. She currently combines producing projects in the area of culture with independent curating. Her projects are noted for their need to give voice to non-hegemonic knowledge and for activating speculation on new ways of co-habiting and caring for ourselves.
Esther Marquina
Sound technician and music programmer
Sound technician and music programmer. Her professional career has focused on the study of sound. Trained in this discipline, she has acquired solid skills and knowledge in this field. She has been a music programmer for over ten years, combining this role with film projects.
