Viatge a Barcino

Itinerari guiat per les restes arqueològiques que es conserven de la colònia de Barcino. Es fa un recorregut per la trama actual dels carrers de la ciutat on es conserven encara restes de diverses construccions romanes (el temple, la muralla i l’aqüeducte) i es visiten també els tallers que es conserven al subsòl arqueològic de la plaça del Rei. En aquest itinerari s’explica com va canviar la ciutat antiga en els primers temps medievals i com és que s’han conservat aquestes restes arqueològiques i no d’altres.

  • Explicar l’origen i el passat romà de la ciutat. Explicar com l’existència de la ciutat romana ha condicionat l’evolució urbanística de la ciutat.
  • Analitzar la forma i les característiques urbanes de Barcino.
  • Mostrar les grans continuïtats i discontinuïtats entre la vida quotidiana de l’època romana i l’actual.
  • Ús de fonts d’informació històrica per explicar certs aspectes de la vida quotidiana en l’època romana.
  • Ús de la periodització convencional: l’edat antiga.
  • Identificació del paper individual en l’època romana.
  • Ús i interpretació de plànols per explicar l’urbanisme de la ciutat romana i l’evolució de l’espai urbà fins a l’actualitat.
  • Plànols de les restes arqueològiques conservades a Barcino i de la Barcelona actual per establir canvis i continuïtats en l’urbanisme de la ciutat.
  • MUHBA Plaça del Rei: subsòl (muralla romana, intervallum, bugaderia, cardo minor, factoria de salaó de peix i instal·lació de vi).
  • Muralles romanes, porta decumana de la plaça Nova, restes de l’aqüeducte, temple d’August (si l'aforament ho permet).
