Industrial Obelisks. Smokestacks/BCN

“Industrial Obelisks. Smokestacks/BCN” is part of a research project of Brian Rosa, urban geographer and photographer, currently based at the Humanities Department of Universitat Pompeu Fabra as a Marie Curie Fellow. The exhibition presents photographs and maps and includes events such as roundtables, guided tours and workshops. It can be viewed from April 2 to July 5, 2022 at MUHBA Oliva Artés and invites the active participation of visitors.

The exhibition focuses on the conserved smokestacks of Barcelona, asking what they signify as monuments.
