Photographer and photojournalist
Barcelona, 1971. Freelance photojournalist for over 20 years, he has covered war zones and humanitarian crises, such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Haiti and Ukraine.
His photographs have been published in Life, Time, Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal (which nominated him for the Pulitzer Prize in 2010), Le Monde, Paris Match and The Guardian, amongst others. His many awards and distinctions include prizes from World Press Photo, Pictures of the Year, PX3, the Bayeux Calvados-Normandy Award and International Photography Awards.
