Anthropologist
Mónica Cornejo Valle holds a PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology and lectures at the Complutense University of Madrid, where she directs the Anthropology, Diversity and Integration Research Group.
She is a member of the University Institute of Sciences of Religions. She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge, the University of Siena and the University of Lancaster. Her lines of research revolve around the study of spirituality and religion in relation to health, religious activism and popular religiosity.
