Mobility technician
Manel Ferri is a mobility technician in the Technical Office for Climate Change at Barcelona Provincial Council. Co-founder and currently vice-president of the Associació per a la Promoció del Transport Públic [Association for the Promotion of Public Transport] and member of the board of directors of the first car-sharing company in Spain (Avancar). He also sits on the board of ASIMUS and the board of trustees of the Fundació Mobilitat Sostenible i Segura [Sustainable and Safe Mobility Foundation].
He has previously been a member of the board of directors of TMB [public transport operator in Catalonia] and head of the Department of Mobility at the CCOO [Trade Union Commission] in Catalonia and Spain. In 2016, he received the European “Talent in Mobility” award at the Paris Public Transport Exhibition. He collaborates with the CONAMA Foundation [National Environment Congress] and the Spanish National Institute for Safety and Hygiene at Work.
