Anthropologist
Professor of Social Anthropology, she is the director of the AFIN Research Group and the Service Provision Laboratory at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
In addition to coordinating the master’s and PhD programmes in the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the UAB, she has held the position of Vice Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at the same university. Specialising in human reproduction and family, she has been the main researcher of various projects and an invited speaker at both national and international events. She has published several books and articles.
