Professor of Philosophy and co-founder of the Gender and Sexualities Studies Institute at The New School for Social Research in New York.
She has written for the Journal of Political Philosophy, the European Journal of Social Theory, the European Journal of Political Theory, Philosophy & Social Criticism, Constellations: An International Journal of Critical and Democratic Theory and Globalizations. Her work has been translated into more than a dozen languages. Bottici is the author of books including Anarcafeminism, A Feminist Mythology, Imaginal Politics, A Philosophy of Political Myth and Men and States: Rethinking the Domestic Analogy in a Global Age. She has also co-authored Imagining Europe: Myth, Memory, Identity and The Myth of the Clash of Civilizations with Benoît Challand.
