Professor and scientific advisor

Associate Professor and scientific director of the ETI (Entrepreneurship – Territory – Innovation) Chair at the Paris IAE – Panthéon Sorbonne University. Scientific advisor to national and international figures, including the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, in is capacity as the Mayor’s Special Envoy for Smart Cities. The French Republic named him Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honour in 2010. In 2019, he received the Foresight Medal by the French Academy of Architecture.

With his research work he has contributed to thinking about the city of the future and its different models, which include the following: the digital and sustainable city (2006), the smart city (2010), the human smart city (2012), the living city (2014) and the 15-minute city, followed by the 30-minute territory, launched in 2016.
