Blanca Garcés-Mascareñas is a senior researcher for the migrations department of CIDOB. She holds a doctorate in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and a bachelor’s degree in History and Anthropology from the University of Barcelona.
She has worked on integration policies with a special focus on the role of cities, on asylum policy in the European Union, and also on the polarization of public discourse on immigration.
