Swings and seesaws have always been spaces for social interaction and play. “Impulse” reinvents these traditional playground fixtures by transforming them into an interactive artistic experience that brings light, movement and sound together.

The installation presents a series of large seesaws that come to life when visitors activate them: the brightness of the light and the music notes change with each movement, creating a unique, collective symphony. Inspired by musical serialism, the work creates moments of intensity and calm through the repetition and variation of sound and light elements. This ephemeral, changing landscape turns a public space into a shining playground where old and young alike can rediscover the joy of playing together. The seesaws become urban instruments that invite interaction, laughter and surprises, creating a collective experience that will blur the lines between art, play and social interactions.
