At LCI Barcelona, Distorsió de la realitat [Reality Distortion] transforms a space into an immersive environment

This light-based installation uses smoke and illumination to create a dual atmosphere, representing chaos and mistrust. Cool tones and red lights symbolise violence and the distortion of reality brought about by armed conflicts and a lack of institutional transparency.

While industrial pollution once distorted our vision of the world, today, disinformation achieves the same effect. This transformation creates a sense of unease and danger, similar to the fog of the past that blurred urban landscapes. Through this project, LCI urges us to reflect on truth and justice in a world saturated with lies and our collective responsibility to achieve a more transparent and just future.
