Being-in-the-World combines video projection mapping, lasers and sound to explore the connection between nature and technology, inspired by Heidegger’s philosophical concept of “being-in-the-world”. The piece symbolises the symbiotic coexistence between the organic, represented by natural projections, and the digital, embodied by laser rays. Far from being at in conflict, these two forces complement each other, undergoing constant transformation, reflecting human interaction with the world.

Through an immersive experiences, the work invites the audience to become active participants in a setting where light, sound and movement evoke harmony between these realities. The emotional impact of the contrast between fluidity and precision encourages reflection on balance and the transformation of our environment. Being-in-the-World transcends observation, sparking conversations on our relationship with nature and technology as key elements of our existence.
