Turtles often confuse the plastic we dispose of in seas and oceans with food, a phenomenon which poses a big threat to their survival. Like Turtles puts us in the place of turtles to make us aware of the importance of closing the production cycle, also known as the circular economy, whereby the thing being produced must form part of a life cycle and consequently must not generate pollutant waste. Reuse, recycle, respect and reduce are key words.

Founded by the light designer Maurici Ginés in 1998, Artec Studio is an internationally acclaimed light studio with over twenty years of experience. Artec works with light, developing architectural lighting design projects, creating works of art and light from its offices in Barcelona, Mexico, Madrid and New York.

Its goal is to offer the full potential that modelling light can bring, creating works that connect space with people and corporate and institutional identities, and fostering perception, knowledge and excitement.
