The panoramas became a very popular type of show at the end of the nineteenth century. They aimed to surround the spectator with images which, with an illusionist effect,  made them feel as if they were in the midst of an historic event or a spectacularly beautiful place. Ours is a type of performance that reinterprets them. If the cyclorama was an ode to the image-show, then an olorama is an ode to aromas, used as constructors of images in the mind. 

Juan Pablo Ramírez

Graduate in architecture from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, Juan Pablo Ramírez is the creative director and scenographer at the agency Falcon Muse Entertainment, based in Luxembourg. He has worked as art director and designed spatial and audiovisual scenographies, productions and experiences all over the world.

He is also a teacher at UPC-School (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) and he worked for five years as a researcher in the area of science and technology and as an associate lecturer in the Architecture, Town Planning and Design Faculty of the National University of Córdoba.
