Type: Installation

Audience: All ages

Light is the first sign indicating the presence of something extraordinary in what, seen from a distance, are merely containers.

By symbolically contrasting containers and domestic scenes, Pocacasa reflects on the modus vivendi of those living in a precipitously unstable urban setting, a result of the city’s exploitation mainly by the tourist sector.

Containers are also associated with the sphere of protest, and light, in conjunction with the figure of these containers, can also evoke its own scorching image. The installation itself brings the spectators together around it, those who use containers, whether for throwing away or for reusing rubbish.
