On this special express tour of the El Born archaeological site for La Mercè, there’s an explanation of the history and memory of the city’s joint patron saint to discover her symbolic, institutional and popular importance over time. The tour offers a chance to stroll around Barcelona’s streets and houses from the 1700s, discovering stories of devotion, tradition, festive activity and the miracles of the city’s saints.
