Networking with the Korean entrepreneurial and professional community

The Korean professional and entrepreneurial community in the Barcelona area is becoming increasingly numerous and with firmer roots. For the purposes of strengthening these links between the community and the city even further, we are inviting Korean professionals and entrepreneurs to this networking event, which has been organised jointly with the Korean Consulate General in Barcelona.

A first part of the event will consist of a presentation of resources and services by Barcelona City Council and the economic development agency, Barcelona Activa.

The event will be rounded off in a dynamic networking session involving all the event’s participants and attendees and moderatd by the representatives of the trade section at Korea’s Consulate General in Barcelona.

PROGRAMME

10 am -10.10 am - Institutional welcome and presentation

10.10 am - 10.30 am  - Barcelona International Welcome resources 

Presentation of the web platform with practical information for settling in the city and carrying out necessary procedures such as registration, visa, etc, activities to help to adapt to the city and get to know the local culture, and a presentation of Barcelona International Welcome Desk service.

10.30 am - 11.20 am  - Barcelona Activa’s resources for supporting business projects launched by the Korean entrepreneurial community

A very practical presentation of the steps that have to be taken for creating a business project in Barcelona and the free resources and services provided by Barcelona Activa for accompanying the process to assess its feasibility and setting up the business. Presentation of incubation resources for start-ups. Presentation of training activities to acquire digital skills.

Facilitated by the Economic Affairs section of the Consulate General of Korea in Barcelona.
