Located in the Palau de la Virreina, the information point is open from Mondays to Fridays, 10.15 am to 6.15 pm, except for public holidays. Most enquiries are information requests, nearly 40% relate to mobility and public transport, 21% are about commerce and restaurants, with the rest on a variety of other matters.
Over half of enquiries come from members of the public, with 28% from tourist operators and 12% from restaurant owners.
Six months of citizen support
The Espai Rambla first opened on 15 June and will remain in operation for the 32 months that the work should take.
The main goals are to provide information about the transformation process and the final result, attend to incidents and concerns among local residents and the local social, economic and cultural fabric, and add vitality to the area to offset the negative effects of the work, with a calendar of activities starting in 2025.
The space includes a visual exhibition explaining the history, presentation and latest updates on the execution of the work and the redevelopment project.
