First stage: team time trials on Saturday, 26 August

This stage involves the main disruptions to traffic as it is being held exclusively around the city’s streets. The event sets off from a structure at the Somorrostro beach and ends in Av. Reina Maria Cristina. There will be different restrictions affecting Montjuïc and the districts of Sant Martí and L’Eixample, and to a lesser degree, Ciutat Vella.

• Parking prohibition

From 8 pm on Thursday to 11 pm on Saturday: Av. Rius i Taulet, from Av. Reina Maria Cristina to C/ Guàrdia Urbana (both sides).

From 12 am on Friday to 7 pm on Sunday: Av. Reina Maria Cristina (both sides) and Pl. Espanya (side nearest the sea). In this same area, from 6 am, Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia will be extended (side nearest the sea), from Av. Reina Maria Cristina to the entrance to the Mies van der Rohe pavillion.

From 6 am on Friday to 9 pm on Saturday: different sections of the streets of Marina, Av. Litoral, Salvador Espriu, Ramon Turró, Sardenya, Pujades, Pg. Lluís Companys, Casp, Lepant, Sancho de Ávila, Badajoz, Av. Diagonal, Bac de Roda, Rbla. Guipúscoa, Aragó, Clot, Mallorca, Roger de Llúria and Rosselló.

• Prohibition on circulation

From 2 pm to 9 pm on Saturday, in different sections of the streets of Wellington, Pujades, Ausiàs Marc, Enamorats, Corunya, Marina, Bruc, Provença, Passeig de Gràcia and Plaça Letamendi.

• Changes in direction of traffic circulation

In Ausiàs Marc, from Nàpols to Roger de Flor; Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes (side nearest the mountains), from Selva de Mar to Fluvià; Marina, from Aragó to València; Roger de Flor, from València to Av. Diagonal (side nearest the mountains; and Av. Roma (side nearest the sea), from Comte d’Urgell to Comte Borrell.

Second stage: Mataró-Barcelona on Sunday, 27 August

The cyclists will be setting off from Mataró and entering Barcelona on the Gran Via before covering the final stage around the mountain of Montjuïc, meaning disruptions in the city will be limited to the district of Sants-Montjuïc, with no changes to the direction of traffic on this day.

• Parking prohibition

From 12 am on Friday to 7 pm on Sunday: Av. Reina Maria Cristina (both sides) and Plaça d’Espanya (side nearest the sea).

From 6 am on Friday to 7 pm on Sunday: C/ Francest Ferrer i Guàrdia (side nearest the sea), from Av. Reina Maria Cristina to the entrance to the Mies van der Rohe pavillion.

From 6 am on Saturday to 7 pm on Sunday: Av. de l’Estadi, from C/ Jocs del 92 to Pg. Santa Madrona (both sides).

From 3 pm on Saturday to 7 pm on Sunday: different sections of the streets of Polvorí, Camí and Carrer de la Foixarda, Pl. Pare Eusebi Millán, Mirador del Palau Nacional, Av. Montanyans, Av. Miramar, Ctra. Montjuïc, Pl. Sardana (zone reserved for buses and people with functional diversity), Pg. del Migdia, Foc, from Pierre de Coubertin, Jocs del 92 and Pg. Olímpic.

• Prohibition on traffic circulation

From 3 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, in the following streets: a section of C/ Foixarda, Av. Montanyans and Pg. del Migdia; slip road and access to the Hípica La Foixarda car park, the tree nurseries, Tres Pins, Doctor Font i Quer (including parking at the Jardí Botànic), Tarongers (including parking area) and the parking area between Pg. Olímpic and Pierre de Coubertin.

Disruptions to mobility

Disruptions will affect 46 bus lines on Saturday and 17 on Sunday. Extra metro services will be laid on for lines serving the affected areas and so people are recommended to use the metro where possible. As many as 78 pedestrian crossings will be set up all around the route to guarantee pedestrian mobility during the event.
