The best open-air cinema celebrates its 21st anniversary. The Montjuïc Castle is once again the city’s coolest cinema, with four nights of music and the latest audiovisual productions as part of the Barcelona Grec Festival.

8:45 pm: Concert by Magalí Datzira (jazz)

With her first LP Des de la cuina in the bag, this newcomer to the jazz scene has trained with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, the ESMUC and the Liceu, as well as in Amsterdam, and has performed all over the world. Want to know why? Come and listen for yourself.

10 pm: Screening of Casa en flames (Spain, 2023), by Dani de la Orden

Montse is excited about spending a weekend with her family on the Costa Brava. She is divorced, her ex has a new girlfriend, her children are grown up and have long since moved on with their lives, paying no attention to her, but nothing and no one will ruin Montse’s dream weekend.
