What wouldn’t his fans give to have seen Muchachito as a child, when he was just Jairo Perera, imitating Peret, Gato Pérez, Michael Jackson and so on? Now, though, he has grown up and become an artist who expresses his own personality through his voice, his drum and his guitar. He has fans not only in Catalonia, but in all the countries where he has played recently: the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Italy and even the US – for he recently played a concert with a percussion instrument made from a mattress no less in New York.
