Toy instruments are the trademark of a musician who has long been considered one of the most exciting and intelligent avant-garde figures on the Catalan music scene. His repertoire takes its inspiration from popular dances, sardanas, film music and a thousand rhythms besides to create a fascinating universe of sound. Joining Comelade and making their debut at the Grec Festival this year are the Bel Canto Orchestra, Pep Pascual – who gets music out of all kinds of objects – and the poet Enric Casasses.
