One of the finest Turkish musicians and a great flamenco guitarist join forces in a concert that fuses East and West.
What does the Mediterranean sound like? To find out, come to this concert, at which two outstanding performers team up in an evening when the power of art and feeling dispels all differences between peoples and cultures. For the Turkish composer and musician Omar Faruk Tekbilek continues on his quest to demonstrate the universal nature of music, as he did with Enrique Morente in 2005. This time around, he joins his talent and the sound of Arabic instruments to the virtuoso skill and guitar of a great name in flamenco music: José Fernández Torres, Tomatito. In this show, the guitarist, who made his debut at the age of just fifteen years, accompanying Camarón de la Isla, connects seamlessly with the sensitivity of his Turkish counterpart in his quest to fuse eastern and western sounds.
