Ulysses, king of Ithaca, returns home and, after a long voyage and mythical adventures, he finally rejoins his faithful wife. However, he finds that a large
court of suitors are pressing for Penelope’s hand in marriage, and he will have to vanquish them. Lluís Soler, accompanied by music composed and played live by Eduard Iniesta, presents a narrative that restores this epic to its original nature as an oral work. A production based on Carles Riba’s version, that narrates these epic adventures whilst stretching to the full the resources of the Catalan language.
