The latest work from the Argentine Rafael Spregelburd inspired by Bosch’s Tabletop of the Seven Deadly Sins is set in Valencia, where a commissar invents a universal language – Katak – that will enable complete communication amongst people whilst making all dissidence impossible. The piece is divided into three parts, each of which relates the same situations, but from different points of view, constantly forcing spectators to question the true version of events. Eight actors including the director, Marcial Di Fonzo Bo, play all the roles in a frantic production that will also be presented at the Avignon Festival.
