If anyone has the right to be called eclectic, it is that avid drinker from different musical wells, John Zorn. Imbued with deep jazz feeling, fascinated by the mystery and rhythm of improvisation, Zorn takes his inspiration from a variety of sources and sounds to create his unique and personal music. Admired for his reading of bebop and his virtuoso sax playing, Zorn’s musical mestizaje has led him to compose music for jazz groups, symphony orchestras, rock bands and film soundtracks… Different fields allowing him to cross genre frontiers and explore the infinite possibilities of sound.
