One hundred Barcelonan women taken part in a unique theatrical experience that gives them the chance to express their opinions about today's world and to talk about their relations with their city and their times.
There is a yawning chasm between what they would have us believe and what life is really like. Collectif Lyon.05 now adds its voice to the many civil society initiatives that shed light on this sad truth. The women’s group invites one hundred women from the city, all with different lifestyles and ways of thinking and going about things, to build up a collective story based on episodes from individual lives. 100FEMMES takes the origin of the universe as a starting-point, a symbol which reminds us that what is infinitely small governs that which is infinitely big, and that our lives fluctuate between darkness and light.
An international coproduction setting out on the long road to take this artistic, cultural and unifying initiative to cities around the world. The journey will culminate in the production of a documentary testifying to the voice and presence of all the women who take part in the experience.
