Laura Pérez

Laura Pérez, born in Valencia in 1983, has worked as an illustrator for several publications and publishing houses, including The Washington Post, National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, Wacom, American Airlines, Fnac, El País and Penguin Random House. In the world of comics, she made her debut with the award-winning graphic novel Náufragos [translated into English as Castaways], co-written with Pablo Monforte. Nominated for an Emmy for the main title design of the series Only Murders in the Building (Disney+), she went on to create Ocultos [translated into English], which won the Ojo Crítico Award, the Ignotus and the Splash Sagunt, Tótem [translated into English as Totem] and Espanto [Horror]. Her most recent work, which like all her others has been published by Astiberri, is Nocturnos [Nocturnal Ones].
