Catriona Ward
Catriona Ward was born in Washington DC and grew up in the US, Kenya, Madagascar, Yemen and Morocco. She studied at Oxford before going on to do a master’s in creative writing at the University of East Anglia. She received the August Derleth Award for best horror novel for her books Rawblood and Little Eve, which also won the Shirley Jackson Award, later repeating the feat with The Last House on Needless Street. Sundial earned the award from the International Thriller Writers association. Her latest novel, published in Spanish by Alianza Runas, as all her previous novels have been, is the disturbing story of a writer and a murderer, Looking Glass Sound.
