Elsa Velasco

Elsa Velasco, born in Barcelona in 1993, is an illustrator specialising in fantasy and science fiction. Her works are inspired by the shapes and vibrant colours of nature, which she uses to tell stories through composition and symbolism. She’s worked with publishing houses such as Penguin Random House and Chronos, as well as with the popular science magazine Principia. She’s illustrated the covers of several books, including the Catalan translations of Adrian Tchaikovsky’s Elder Race and Firewalkers (both published by Chronos).
