Verónica Cervilla
Verónica Cervilla (Linares, 1987) is a bilingual writer and scriptwriter specialising in terror and dark fantasy. She studied Audiovisual Directing in Seville and has a master's in scriptwriting from The Core School. She currently directs the literary magazine Tártarus, which has been nominated for the Ignotus Award, and is a professor of Audiovisual Stories for Videogames, in addition to teaching workshops on writing and cinema. She has published the two-part fantasy epic Póker Kingdom and the dark fantasy novel La bruja de Biertan, as well as different stories in anthologies, most notably the terror story S, which has been adapted in a short film whose script won an honourable mention in Los Angeles. She won the fourth Ripley Award with the terror novel Quién cuidará de ti (Literup, 2023). TW: @VCervilla
