Often associated with a more or less masculinised world, the truth is that genre literature has also been written in the voice of women. Pioneers such as Ursula K. Le Guin, Joanna Russ and Octavia E. Butler paved the way for a generation of female writers of science fiction and other fantasy genres, who are still imagining futures and reflecting our present through sharp writing that is very much alive. Would you like to discover them?
A special book club for Festival 42. The November session will take place in the Fabra i Coats facilities as part of the festival, and there will be a special session featuring Mariana Enríquez to discuss the books Nuestra parte de noche and Las cosas que perdimos en el fuego. Furthermore, each session will include the presence of the featured writers.
