Sergi Puertas

Sergi Puertas (Barcelona, 1971) is a writer who was the editor-in-chief of the magazine El víbora in its last years. He is the author of numerous novels like Porque sí, Subnormal, Mindundi and Cómo destruir ángeles, and of the poetry collections Tira mis sueños a la calle y la lluvia los hará crecer, Ángeles cansados and Sigue buscando, hay miles de premios. He has also published a book of short stories, Estabulario (Impedimenta, 2017), the graphic novel Logout (Norma Editorial, 2015), with drawings by Pier Brito, and the autobiographical novel La experiencia (Pez de plata, 2022). The rest of his writings, which include countless stories and poems, have been published in anthologies, newspapers and magazines. In 2023, he published the pandemic dystopia La cepa afgana en Barcelona (Pez de Plata) set in Barcelona and written prior to COVID-19.
