Saïd El Kadaoui
Saïd El Kadaoui (Nador, 1975) is a writer, psychologist and associate professor at the University of Girona. A specialist in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, El Kadaoui focuses on studying the development of identity in adolescents within a Moroccan-Catalan context and the impact of migration from a psychological standpoint. His best-known novels include No (Catedral, 2016), Selfis (with Ricard Ruiz, Columna, 2017), Cartes al meu fill. Un català de soca-rel, gairebé (Ara Llibres, 2011) and Límites y fronteras (Milenio, 2008), books where he tackles the phenomenon of migration and identity in a critical way. He writes regularly for El Público and El Periódico de Catalunya, as well as other specialist magazines.
