Pablo Aguilera

Pablo Aguilera (Jerez, 1984) is a telecommunications engineer and doctor of Artificial Intelligence (Extraordinary PhD Award). He has had numerous scientific papers published in various journals and presented at international congresses, and he has around fifty patents. He currently combines his work as a professor of Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Seville with his role as Director of Innovation and Research for a telecommunications company. He has published various books, including the innovative En las cenizas [Into the ashes], a dark solitaire adventure with tactical tabletop combat, which is played within the book itself using just a pen to plot the actions. En las cenizas won the Best Game of the Year award, and Devir will be launching an improved and remastered version of the game in 2023, as well as versions in other languages.
