Oriol (Vlak) Hernández

Oriol (Vlak) Hernandez (Terrassa) is an illustrator who studied at the prestigious Joso School, where years later he returned to teach classes on digital illustration. In 2010 he began working with the renowned Belgian screenwriter Zidrou, who opened the doors to the French-speaking market. Together they published Maman Noel, Los 3 frutos and La piel del oso (Revelation Author Award from the Barcelona International Comic Fair and bronze medal from the International Manga Awards, awarded by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs). He has also worked at Filmax Animación, collaborating on the films Donkey Xote and Nocturna. In addition he is the author of El Zombi, ¡A mí no me gustan los libros! and Natures mortes, which perfectly reflect the evolution of his work in recent years through images that take on greater intensity and reinforce the script.
