Muntsa Mimó

Muntsa Mimó (Barcelona, 1960) is the pseudonym used by Montserrat Colell Mimó, a fiction writer, PhD in Psychology and teacher at the Universitat de Barcelona who specialises in Primatology and Ethology. She has been writing novels for young people and children since 2007. Her works include Quatre persones diferents no somien el mateix, Ets prou llesta, Nyumbú?, Xarop de banya d'unicorni and Una caja de secretos. She also writes for adults and has had short stories published in collections such as Extraordinàries. The collectively written novel L'artefacte won her the 22nd Vila d'Ascó award, and her Regal d'aniversari  won the ninth edition of the Les Millors Pàgines Literary Competition. El dia del vaixell was shortlisted for the 45th Ciutat d’Olot award for YA Novels. Her recent publications include No ets cap hiena, Nzui!. (Animallibres).
