Martí Domínguez
Martí Domínguez (Madrid, 1966) is a professor of Journalism at the University of Valencia and won the National Journalism Award for his work as the director of the science magazine Mètode. As a novelist, he has written Les confidències del comte de Buffon, El secret de Goethe, El retorn de Voltaire (all three reissued this summer in a Trilogy of the Enlightenment), El fracassat, La sega, L’assassí que estimava els llibres and L’esperit del temps, which won the Òmnium Award for Best Novel in 2019. In 2022, his dystopian novel Mater was distinguished with the fourth Proa Novel Award. He is also the author of the essay El somni de Lucreci, which won the Carles Rahola Award. He recently published the biography Voltaire.
