Marc Pastor

Marc Pastor (Barcelona, 1977) is a criminologist who works with the scientific police in the Mossos d’Esquadra police force and is an amateur ‘chrononaut’ who is addicted to travelling in time and bringing readers with him. He combated the Nazis in Montecristo and came up with the criminal profile of the Vampire of Barcelona in La mala dona (2017 Crims de Tinta Award). In L’any de la plaga, he warned about an imminent invasion of body snatchers; in Bioko, he crossed a colonial novel with time travel and in Farishta, he plunged into a mysterious complex in French Polynesia. He has published stories in different anthologies, and even though they can be read separately, his stories complement each other and comprise ‘Corvovers’, a unique universe all his own, the latest instalment of which is the novel Els àngels et miren (published in Spanish as Los ángeles te miran). One of his latest novels is L’horror de Rèquiem (Mai Més). His works have been translated into a dozen languages.
