Manuel Moreno

Manuel Moreno is a tenured professor in the Department of Physics at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), in addition to holding a PhD in Physics (specialisation in Astronomy) from the University of Barcelona (UB). He has also participated in the European Space Agency's (ESA) Hipparcos satellite mission. He keeps busy disseminating and communicating about technoscience. He has contributed to media like El País (Ciberp@ís), La Sexta 3 (¿Ciencia o ficción?) and ComRàdio (Extraradi), and he currently participates in the La ciutat programme on Onda Cero Catalunya. He is the co-author of the books De King Kong a Einstein. La física en la ciencia ficción (Edicions UPC, 1999) and La ciencia de la ciencia ficción (Shackleton 2019)
