Laia Ruiz Mingote

Laia Ruiz Mingote is a journalist and anthropologist, although she has also published several fantastical and romantic genre novels. She has never stopped writing since she was a girl, but she did not do it seriously until her own daughter grew up. In addition to her human daughter, she also has two dogs and a three-coloured cat. Happily single, she currently lives in Barcelona, where she has written her fantasy, science fiction and chick-lit novels, whose common thread is their rowdiness and sense of humour. When she gets serious, she writes about health in El Crític. Her last two novels are the fantastical Maga vaga and her recent story on artificial intelligence and Alzheimer, Memor.IA (Fosca Netw_rks).
