Jose Valenzuela

Jose Valenzuela (Terrassa, 1982) is an engineer with a PhD in Humanities who contributes to media like Jot Down Magazine. He has worked in laboratories like the Nanomaterials and Microsystems Group at the UAB and the Neuroscience and Virtual Reality Research Group at the UB, in the innovation area at the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron and at the digital agency VISYON. He currently divides his time between his neuroscience work at the University of Barcelona, teaching creativity at the UOC and his contributions to the media. In 2019, he published his essay Todos nacemos locos. 50 títulos esenciales sobre el trastorno mental (Editorial UOC). In 2023, he published his first comic as the scriptwriter, entitled Locura. Un elogio de la diferencia (Norma Editorial) / Nou elogi de la follia (Comanegra).
