José Antonio Bonilla
José Antonio Bonilla (Sabadell, 1969) is a writer and biochemist who works at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is a member of AEFCFT-Pórtico and the PAE. As an anthologist, he has coordinated titles like Mechacrónicas (Apache Libros, 2022), the first anthology on Mechas in our country, and Barcelona Steampunk 1880-1910 (Apache Libros, 2022), a compilation inspired by Barcelona's iconic monuments. In 2022, he won an honourable mention in the UPC Miquel Barceló International Science Fiction Award with Purgatorio. Captador de almas (Apache Libros, 2023). He recently made his first venture into noir novels with Haiku para un cadáver (Valhalla Ediciones, 2023), and he won the International Black Mountain Bossòst Noir Novel Award for La Dama de Niebla.
