Joan Roca Navarro

Joan Roca Navarro (Deltebre, 1977) is a writer and the author of the stories L’estrany cas del senyor Heribert Borromell (2001), Relat en sol menor (2011) and Els afectes secundaris (2012). In 2018, he published his first mystery novel, Melodia d’una absència (Capital Books), with music as the backdrop. Sota el fang (La Magrana, 2023) is his latest novel, in which the Delta de l’Ebre becomes a fantastical, dark setting with the constant, asphyxiating presence of the coast.
