Horror affects us all. Nobody is immune to it but sometimes it’s not what happens but rather how it happens that makes us put the book down, close our eyes or change channel. We look at the keys in the different media that manage to hit the switch that makes our hair stand on end, or simply prevents us from carrying on with the work.
