Gemma Artés
Gemma Artés (Barcelona, 1988) holds a bachelor's in Biochemistry and is a secondary school science teacher. She was the president of the Asociación Lúdico Cultural Stronghold for six years, where she gained extensive experience and knowledge in the professional and semi-professional board game and role playing sector. After that, she began to take an interest in and professionally specialise in the game-based learning methodology and has participated as a trainer in different courses for teachers organised by the Ub’s ICE and the ENTI-UB's master's in Educational Gaming. She currently combines her work as a teacher and digital coordinator at a public secondary school with professional partnerships with organisations associated with the world of board games, role playing and videogames, in addition to remaining closely associated with ALC Stronghold and the entire alternative leisure sector.
