Fruela Fernández
Fruela Fernández (Langreo, 1982) is a writer from Asturias who has cultivated both poetry and essays and journals. She is the author of four poetry books —Corrige los nombres (La Bella Varsovia, 2023), La familia socialista (La Bella Varsovia, 2018), Una paz europea (Pre-Textos, 2016) and Folk (Pre-Textos, 2013)— along with the essay Una tradición rebelde (La Vorágine, 2019) and the journal Incertidumbre de aldea (La Vorágine, 2021). Her translations include the essay-anthology Manos verdaderas (Kriller71, 2022), along with Apocalipsis. Revelación de Juan (Wunderkammer, 2023) and De Lichtenberg a Kafka. Aforismos y apuntes alemanes (Akal, 2023). She has also served as the director of the Cosmopoética Festival and is currently an advisor at the Kriller71 publishing house. She lives in a town on Mallorca and is a professor at the University of the Balearic Islands.
